Four days on a quiet lake at the height of the color, with a sauna on the shore and cold water at the end of the dock.
Reserve your spotFor a year now we've been building capacity together inside four walls in Oldsmar. Heat, then ice, then the part that matters most, which is the room full of people who did it with you.
This October we're doing it somewhere else. A house on a lake in the Adirondacks, in the first week of peak color, when the hills go copper and the mornings come in under a layer of mist. There's a sauna on the shore. The plunge is the lake itself, straight off the end of the dock, no chiller required.
It's a small group and it's the first one we've ever done. If you're reading this, you're invited.
Nothing here is mandatory and nothing here is rushed. Come to all of it or take a morning on the dock with a book instead.
Sauna right there on the shore, cold plunge off the end of the dock. October lake water does the work a chiller usually has to.
A gentle practice with Annette, Friday through Monday, to land in your body before the day starts moving.
Easy to moderate, with the kind of ridge views that make the whole valley look like it's on fire.
An easy paddle through the lily pads and quiet coves, weather permitting.
Every meal from Friday afternoon through Monday morning is handled. Late lunch and dinner Friday. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the flight home on Monday.
You don't have to plan anything, book anything, or split a check. The sauna and the cold are the capsule. This part is the medicine.
Everything from the moment we pick you up in Plattsburgh to the moment we drop you back off.
Not included: airfare. We've picked the two Allegiant flights below so the whole group lands together and rides in together. Book those two and everything else is taken care of.
Allegiant flies St. Pete/Clearwater straight into Plattsburgh. These are the flights we're all on.
We'll meet you at baggage claim in Plattsburgh Friday morning and have you back at the airport in plenty of time Monday evening.
Annette leads a gentle movement and meditation practice every morning of the retreat, Friday through Monday. It's the same thing she brings to a Revivery room, moved outside, with the lake right there.
Your system does real work in the heat and the cold. The practice is how you land afterward.
Lodging, every meal, daily sauna and lake plunge, guided hikes, kayaking, morning practice with Annette, and airport transport both ways. Airfare is the only thing you book yourself.
Reserve your spotHeat, ice, hills on fire, and a table full of people who get it. It's the first one we've ever done, and we'd love for you to be there.
